Presenter Profiles
Samina Khan
Samina has been associated with DM Digital Television for over five years and is one of the senior presenters. She has travelled all over the world including Sweden, Pakistan for producing DM Special programmes. Channel 4 featured Samina in their flagship current affairs 'Dispatches', on the issues of 'Cousin Marriages'. Samina has a Master in Business Administration and was a keen debater in her college.
Her interest and background in news and journalism prompted her to take-up the role of DM Digital Television. Samina has successfully taken on new challenges and now hosts many popular shows including DM Special, Aap Ki Awaaz, Setaare Kya Kehete Hain amongst others. Apart from being a television presenter, Samina has anchored numerous events for DM Digital and other prestigious organisations. Samina believes in adopting and adapting on the way and it is this attitude of hers which has made her very successful and one of the most sought after presenters at DM Digital. She is married and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her kids and family.
Sumiara Bukhari
Sumiara joined DM Digital Television in 2011 as one of the senior presenters. She has travelled all over the world including Europe, UK, Pakistan for producing DM Special programmes and events. She has previously worked in PTV as a News caster and has a journalism degree.
Her interest and background in news and journalism prompted her to take-up the role of DM Digital Television. In a very short span of time, she has established herself at DM Digital and now hosts many popular shows including DM Community News, DM News Review, POAF Complaint Cell amongst others. Apart from being a television presenter, Sumiara has anchored numerous events for DM Digital and other prestigious organisations. She spends her spare time researching, traveling and enjoys spending time with family.
Mehboob Ahmed Khan
Mehboob Khan has had a very successful career which spans 18+ years. After finishing his graduation from FA college, he started out by directing and producing stage shows. Mehboob has 13+ years of experience as a radio presenter with Sunrise Radio, Asian Sound Radio and FM 100 radio stations. During the course of his working with them, has been a familiar voice behind many popular programmes. He also starred and directed a mega budget film called 'Garebo ka Badshah' which was released in 1987. After a successful career in radio, Mehboob started his media company, he wrote, directed and produced many popular stage shows and drama including the movie 'Mickey Kheydo England'. Mehboob joined DM Digital Television in 2005 and has been a popular face behind Aasana na Kashmir, Punjab De Rang, Desi Dhool, Gupp Shupp with Mehboob, Music with Papa, Midnight With Papa, amongst others. Mehboob is down to earth, has a great sense of humour and has a very keen interest in making friends and meeting people from different nationalities and cultures. He has travelled extensively with his media company for stage shows and events and is a well known face back in Pakistan and Lollywood. He attributes everything to his mother who has supported him during all these years and spends his spare time with close friends and family. He is a big time supporter of the English football team and enjoying playing cricket.
Agha Baheshti
World Famous Astrologer, Psychic, Tarot and Numerologist, Agha Baheshti joined DM Digital TV in March 2010. In a short career spanning 5+ years, Agha is already considered to be one of the world's leading astrologers who has the uncanny insight and ability to look into the future and predict events in the life's of people and nations. He has been a familiar face on TV and Radio channels like on ARY TV, TV1, Business Plus, FM 103 and FM 101. Some of his famous programmes with different channels are Bakhaber Savera, Tehjaliya Te Phalak and Hum asp aur Sitare. On DM Digital he stars and produces the 'Hum aap aur Sitaare'. Agha has a doctorate degree in Astrology from Hozia Alumina Kumbh. Agha has already written and prepared over 10000 zayecha's (Kundli's) in UK alone and loves reading and meeting new people. Some of famous predictions include - the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, downfall of Pervez Musharraf and the formation of the coalition government in England between Tories and Lib Dems. Agha has a fanfare following and some of his clients are celebrities and famous names from the world of politics, business and lollywood. Aqeela Sundus
Aqeela Sundus joined DM Digital in 2009. She is a law graduate from the University of South Asia and took up this role by chance and has not looked back since then. Aqeela hails from Pakistan where she was a familiar face on the TV channel Din News. She now hosts several programs at DM Digital which include Manchester Talk, DM News Review and Legal Current Affairs. Aqeela was the president of debating society in school and the president of dramatic society in her college and won several competition which gave her the confidence to pursue a career as a TV presenter. Aqeela is married and has a keen interest in reading and current affairs.

Waseem has many years of experience in journalism, print and electronic media. He was awarded by the British Council and Foriegn Commonwealth Office for his project 'Winds of Change Media Perception Award'. He has previosuly worked in Aaj TV, Khabar Group of Newspapers, Daily Insaf and has worked on attachments with the Associated Group of Newspapers - Mail on Sunday, London in the past. He had previosly held various position as Bureau Cheif, Aaj TV, London. He has specialised in Media Studies from Punjab University and has done many foriegn assignments in different countries like India, Pakistan, Europe. Waseem is associated with DM News Review, DM Questions Time and News Presenter. Waseem joined DM Digital in 2006. He loves spending time reading books on current affairs and politics, Garden long walks, playing cricket.
Zulfiqar
Zulfiqar has been assocaited with Astrology from the young age of twelve years. He has been taught from many renowned teachers. Zulfiqar has been living in Germany since 1977. His past experience includes running several successful business and has always had a big passion for Astrology. At DM Digital TV, Zulfiqar presents the popular Sitaroon Se Agae which has now been running for over an year. Zulfiqar speaks many languages including German, Schaweize, Urdu, Punjabi and English. He has a large fanfare following on DM Digital TV. One of his recent prediction included India winning the ICC world Cup Final. He loves to spend time with his family and on his passion - Astrology.
Mani Liaqat
Mani is a professional Actor, Comedian, Presenter... and the winner of The Great Indian laughter Challenge UK (X factor for comedy) for main stream Asian channel Star One - Star Plus Production Sky 783/784. In 2008 he was awarded as The Funniest Asian in UK. Recently, has acted in the first ever British Hindi Bollywood Gangster film called 'PUSHER nasha' as a 'Cop' which has already released in the UK on 15th OCT 10 and will be releasing in India in 2011(dates to be confirmed). He also featured in the Drama Serial called Sard Aag for mainstream Pakistani Channel Hum TV, directed by Yasir Akthar. In 2009, he appeared on the most watched morning show 'The Nadia Khan Show ' on mainstream Pakistani international channel Geo TV Sky 815. Mani has recently produced and featured in the Live Hit Comedy series - Control Room on DM Digital
Mani has worked with various organisations as an actor and comedian in the UK and internationally. His fellow artists consider him a promising Actor, Comedian and Presenter. He loves entertaining people and has performed at various show's, weddings, mela's, events and radio. Mani had received his professional training as a theater and TV acting artist from David Johnson and Carol Godby after completing his NDPA (National Diploma Performing Arts). He has also been nominated for the Jinnah Awards for my contribution to the entertainment industry as a British Pakistani. The awards were held at The Foreign & Common Wealth Office in London on 2nd Feb 2011.
Faheem Ajmal Khan
Faheem Ajmal Khan joined DM Digital TV Network in 2010 and is the familiar face behind Good Morning Manchester, broadcasted live every morning from its studios. Faheen’s is new to television media and sense of humour off and on stage makes him a very sought after presenter. During his college days, he took keen interest in dramatics, stage shows and debates. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Manchester and pursuing his doctorate in Law and Finance. He loves cricket and football and is a keen supporter of the Pakistan and Indian Cricket Team and Manchester United Football Club. Faheem’s actively participates and hosts charity event and he is the founding member of the Manchester Volunteer group.
