Job Description
To laise with clients such as the presenters, staff and student to determin the purpose specification and use of clothing. Research market trends and current fashions in the authentic and Asian clothing markets. Research in Fabric and material relevant to client products. Create sketches and prototypes. Prepare and design costumer fashion / Asian clothes (especially ladies and youth) including salwar kameez, suits and traditional party and casual wear clothes.
Desirable Qualities:
1. Should be able to work in a multi-cultural environment
2. Able to speak Punjabi/Urdu or Hindi apart from English language
3. Prior proven experience of using sewing machine, buttom and tag machines including specialist sewing for coats and salwars
4. Proven prior experience in TV shows or media
5. Qualification in stitching and fashion industry.
Essential Qualities:
1. Able to meet tight timelines
2. Able to multi-task and run on multiple project
3. Able to work independently with little supervision
